Breakoutly is a research tool for short-form video creators. This page explains what we collect, why, who helps us run the service, and what you can ask us to do with your data.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, and if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture. We do not get your Google password.
- Profile choices you make: app language, country, content languages, goal, and later an optional WhatsApp number.
- What you do in the app: searches, saved videos and boards, tracked creators, scripts and week plans you write, and usage counts for the daily fair-use cap.
- Billing, when paid plans open: plan, status and dates. Card details go to our payment provider, never to us.
- Technical: a sign-in cookie, a language cookie, and short-lived IP-based counters that stop abuse.
Google sign-in
If you sign in with Google we receive only your name, email address and profile picture (scopes openid, email, profile). We use them only to create and identify your account. We do not read your Gmail, Drive, contacts or YouTube data, we do not sell this data, and we do not use it for advertising. Our use of information from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
TikTok data
Video and creator numbers come from public TikTok pages through third-party public-data providers. We store metadata, thumbnail links and transcripts, never video files, and we do not log in to TikTok as you.
Why we use it
- To run the features you use and remember your work.
- To keep the service safe: rate limits, fraud and abuse checks.
- To send messages you asked for, such as a sign-in link or a renewal reminder 7 days before a charge.
We do not sell personal data and we do not show ads.
Who helps us run Breakoutly
- Vercel: hosting.
- Neon: database.
- Google: sign-in.
- Anthropic: AI writing and analysis. The text you send to an AI feature is processed to answer that request.
- Resend: email.
- Paddle: payments and invoices, once paid plans open.
- ScrapeCreators and EnsembleData: public TikTok data.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the service needs: one that keeps you signed in and one that remembers your app language. No advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except billing records the law requires us to keep.
Your choices
- Download your data as a JSON file from Settings.
- Ask us to correct or delete your data by emailing meetismailblogger@gmail.com from your account email.
- Remove Breakoutly's access in your Google Account under Security, Third-party connections.
